The business mission in Cairo, ended Thursday, April 10, organized by Confindustria , Ice e Abi, collaboration with Assolombarda and Assafrica & Mediterraneo. Great success of the event which saw participation of over 130 Italian companies involved in the day Wednesday, 9 April 1000 in B2B meetings, in particular the Ortech di Giza was chosen as Software Farm of the SMS Engineering. 

The meeting was chaired, for Confindustria, President Luca di Montenzemolo and his deputy, Giuseppe Morandini, and Premier Romano Prodi with the Minister Emma Bonino representing the Italian Government. 
To represent the micro-companies as Best Practice of Confederation, participated in the mission Antonio Ascione, Massimiliano Canestro and Rosangela Capasso representing SMS Engineering ( Special Mention - Prix IXI Confindustria 2008 - Class 0-50 employees), pictured with Prime Minister Romano Prodi in the evening Gala bid by Banca Intesa, April 8. Representing the Egyptian Government have presided over the work of the PremierNazif and the MinisterRachid with President Zorba EIF(the Egyptian equivalent of Confindustria). Both representatives have signed cooperation agreements between Italy and Egypt. In addition, the President Montezemolo and the President Zorba exchanged gifts as a token of friendship between the associations in the enchanting scenery of the Pyramids of Giza , during a gala dinner offered by the Egyptian representative in the evening of April 9.
During this initiative, strongly supported by President Luca di Montezemolo, the SMS Engineering, after missions in China with the objective exchange of knowledge and technology, is able to meet more than 10 operators in the Egyptian ICT sector. In particular she was a guest at the headquarters of Software House IT Worx Egypt ( co-finalist with the SMS Engineering at Microsoft WPC Awards 2007 and winner in the category Small Business Specialist) with which it is being examined by a Joint Venture. L’ OrtechTech di Giza, known during the B2B meetings organized by ICE, has been chosen as SMSEngineering's software farm for the development of particular procedures and for testing different applications made at the headquarters of Naples City of Science. During the stay in Egypt there was an visit of OrchTech's seat in Giza where the Development Manager, Arafat Hegazy, il sales manager, Farah Ahmed and the administrator, Omar Shafik ,together with Dott.ssa Rosangela Capasso,ing. Massimiliano Canestro and ing. Antonio Ascione have already started procedures for the exchange and technology transfer to start the development work and testing in Egypt.
